| This is the angle the right toe of the weld makes relative to the plate surface at the right toe. To calculate the angle, a point on the surface of the weld bead a distance of "1" from the weld toe is selected. Then the angle is measured from the outer weld toe to that selected point, relative to the plate surface at the weld toe. (That "1" is in whatever units are entered for your scale. It was intended to be mm when implemented.) |
