2 - Leg Length Horizontal (Weld Root to Point)

This is the distance of actual fusion into the lower plate. This is the distance taken from the start of fusion at the lower weld root (3) to the start of fusion at the right toe of the weld (4).

This is the distance from the actual fusion points. Notice that the dimension is not taken from the actual toe of the weld, but rather from where the fusion starts. This measurement ignores any undercut that may be present.
