26 - Effective Throat - Non-Equal Leg

According to the American Welding Society, effective throat is "The minimum distance, minus any convexity, between the root and the face of a fillet weld."

To attempt to model this on a lap weld, this measurement first considers the actual throat of the weld. To adjust for convexity, the ROP construction line is used. If the actual throat is larger than the distance to the ROP line, then the distance to the ROP line is reported.
